Commentaire du Père Sainte-Grenouille de Benitez, responsable de notre cellule exégèse :
Versets 1-4 : les premiers versets du psaume montrent clairement qu’il s’agit d’un psaume de louange, probablement composé par Marcos Ceara lors de la saison 2008/2009, année où le PSG triompha de tous ses ennemis. Le psalmiste associe Mickaël Landreau et Guillaume Hoarau à sa louange, eux qui furent mis à l’épreuve peu de temps auparavant. On sait que le grand prêtre Villeneuve avait réclamé un grand gardien à Paris, et que le peuple avait conspué Hoarau pour son inefficacité. Conscient de son indignité, le psalmiste remercie PSG de sa miséricorde, c’est-à-dire l’indulgence de PSG pour les errements passés de Marcos, qu’il n’est point besoin de rappeler, et sa patiente confiance. L’adjectif « éternel » est capital dans le message du psalmiste : il n’entend pas nier les périodes de doute et de faiblesse, ni minimiser les tourments infligés par PSG à son peuple, mais il entend les mesurer à l’aune infinie de sa bonté, comme le proclamait déjà le psaume 103 : « Ce n’est pas pour toujours qu’il réprimande, il ne garde pas à jamais sa colère. […] Mais la bonté de PSG dure à jamais ».
Versets 5-9 : le psalmiste rappelle la triste situation dans laquelle il a été et se félicite d’avoir gardé sa confiance en PSG lorsque dans les moments difficiles, constatant a posteriori que rien d’autre n’aurait pu lui apporter autant que PSG.
Verset 9 : la plupart des spécialistes s’accordent à voir dans ce verset le refus de Marcos Ceara d’un transfert à Monaco. Il tient ainsi à démentir une rumeur née d’un autre psaume : « tu es mon rocher, mon consolateur ». L’hypothèse selon laquelle le psalmiste se défierait ici du Parc des Princes, trop versatile, est aujourd’hui écartée.
Versets 10-12 : s’agit-il ici d’agressivité dans le bon sens du terme ? Quoi qu’il en soit, les hommes de PSG ne refusent pas le combat, Sessegnon en tête. Harcelé par les adversaires comme par des abeilles, il tend l’autre joue, mais à sa façon, comme on le voit sur ce détail d’une fresque du peintre Canal-Eto’o.
Verset 13 : première apostrophe, en forme de mise en garde aux adversaires de PSG : le psalmiste rappelle que les parisiens, menés par Guillaume Hoarau, tiennent bien sur leurs appuis, et ne s’effondrent pas au moindre contact.
Verset 14-15a : le chant que PSG inspire n’est pas seulement celui du psalmiste mais la louange liturgique de tout le peuple rassemblé lors des cérémonies publiques au Parc des Princes, dont l’importance est capitale, ce que rappellent ces versets. La fin du verset 14 « Il a été mon salut » est controversée : certains y voient une allusion aux saluts nazis qui auraient eu cours dans les tribunes du Parc des Princes quelques années avant l’écriture du Psaume. Nous retenons l’hypothèse plus simple : PSG m’a sauvé.
Versets 15b-16 : en cette saison 2008-2009, c’est sur sa droite que PSG avait manifesté toute l’étendue de sa puissance, suscitant les chants d’allégresse de son peuple.
Verset 17 : encouragement prophétique du psalmiste adressé à l’équipe de Paris Sonne le Glas.
Verset 18 : nouvelle allusion aux terribles saisons 2007 et 2008, pendant lesquelles le peuple, à commencer par le blog Paris Sonne le Glas, n’a pas perdu confiance en PSG.
Versets 19-20 : le psalmiste voudrait que la justice des hommes, imparfaite et arbitraire, s’ouvre à celle de PSG. Lui et ses partenaires ont souvent été visés par cette justice humaine. Rappelons qu’à l’époque, de multiples commissions à la jurisprudence très versatile siégeaient et rendaient des décisions souvent partiales. On a également proposé un rapprochement avec la phrase que l’on trouve souvent dans les Ecritures : « je suis un peu juste pour dimanche, mais je serai rétabli pour la réception de x ». Il nous semble plus opportun d’y voir un encouragement envers l’équipe de Paris Sonne le Glas à ne pas abandonner le combat pour une vison drôle et juste de PSG, et forcer les portes des media du football, auto-érigés en juges souverains des actions des hommes.
Verset 21 : même s’il est formulé à la première personne, il s’agit là d’un nouvel appel à célébrer les exploits du PSG adressé à toutes les âmes de bonne volonté.
Verset 22 : allusion aux critiques acerbes lancées à l’encontre de PSG lors des années précédentes. L’allusion renvoie plus précisément à Armand et Ceara lui-même, considérés comme morts pour le football, puis, à l’époque de la composition du psaume, encensés et régulièrement placés dans les équipes-type de la L1.
Versets 23-24 : devant cette métamorphose miraculeuse des hommes de PSG , le psaume laisse à nouveau éclater une joie sans ombre.
Verset 25 : la louange s’élargit dans une prière si confiante qu’elle paraît annoncer plus que demander les succès à venir. L’avenir lui donnera amplement raison.
Verset 26 : le peuple PSG est uni, le bloc équipe est bien en place, le vestiaire est soudé, etc.
Verset 27 : Paris, ville lumière. Le verset est prophétique : Grégory Bourillon sera en effet immolé par Mateja Kezman à la fin de la saison après son quadruplé en finale de l’UEFA.
Verset 28 : tous ensemble : PARIS EST MAGIQUE !!!!! PARIS EST MAGIQUE !!!
